Nipponster?
What is a Nipponster?
I was sitting in the computer lab at Sophia University (in Tokyo) with Keitaro, who is one of our staff members, trying to come up with a name for the new website we were starting and it hit me... Nipponster. It's not really a word, but I guess it is now.
If I had to define it I would say that:
A nipponster is "someone who is fond of Japan"
So, the question is..., are you a Nipponster?

To a certain extent, I dig the music and cinema, but I'm not exactly trying to immerse myself with everything Japan related. I think if I put the country or any country on a pedestal and try to learn everything about it I'll eventually let myself down with something or another... or I'll just get bored. :/
That's probably a lot healthier. No pedestals. Japan definitely has it's flaws and I have experienced the harsh end of some of them first hand.

btw,
What kind of Japanese music/musicians do you like?
